How this estimate works
The size presets are editable planning assumptions supplied for this tool, not market quotes. Each size has Economy, Standard, and Premium starting budgets; Premium is open-ended.
Studio: $5,000 / $8,000 / $12,000+. One bedroom: $8,000 / $12,000 / $18,000+. Two bedrooms: $12,000 / $18,000 / $28,000+. Three bedrooms: $18,000 / $28,000 / $40,000+. Four bedrooms: $25,000 / $38,000 / $50,000+.
Applying a preset or editing the base budget redistributes it using the visible starter allocation. Editing a category instead updates the base-budget total. Outdoor / other starts at zero and is fully editable. Applying a preset intentionally replaces your category edits.
Total furnishing cash = category subtotal + subtotal × contingency percent ÷ 100. The initial 10% contingency is an editable assumption. Enter tax-inclusive quotes in each category where possible; delivery and assembly have their own line.
